Building a social collaboration platform from the ground up has been no easy task. Juan Pereyra, founder of Pnyx was influenced to develop better technologies to help serve the disability and aged care communities. His idea was around how to connect people both within and outside an organisation that are all aiming to achieve positive outcomes for the aged or disabled person.

The start-up has been around for 3 years and its proving out how partnering with service providers is a win-win formula. As NDIS is being rolled out across the country, Pnyx has been partnering with early adopter Service providers to test out which processes would really make an impact for them and to their service delivery.

To successfully adapt to NDIS reforms, service providers are assessing their processes and people as they aim to deliver individualised care to their clients, and realising how back office staff and support systems are becoming the enablers to make this change. This is where comes in. design is human centred, not only in its belief of person centred care, but in developing easy to use interfaces for busy healthcare professionals. The workflow starts with the front line carer in mind, then layers on administration, management and Executive level reporting.
